If the world’s economic problems are getting you down, consider taking a personal journey of learning. It costs far less than a vacation and you will invest in skills you can use for for a lifetime.

Here are some offerings for fall:

ABC’s of Beautiful Light at PCNW Wednesday evenings beginning September 21. This course is for those who are new to lighting and those who want to improve their skills. We will cover natural light, artificial continuous light, studio lights and dedicated flash. See PCNW’s catalog for more information. Get inspired by the wonderful work of my Creative Seminar class at PCNW this past Spring.
ABC’s of Beautiful Light at Minot State University September 13-19. Includes a week of lighting instruction available to MSU students and the public. I will also be a guest lecturer at the NorthWest Art Center Lecture Series, Monday, September 19 at 7:00 p.m. titled The Creative Life.
The Creative Self and How to Improve your Photographs. I will be teaching these two classes at IslandWood’s Circle of Friends on Bainbridge Island the weekend of October 14-16. This is an annual women’s event at which I will also be the keynote speaker. Check out IslandWood. It is an amazing center that teaches kids from the inner city about nature. The Circle of Friends is a great investment in yourself and also helps Islandwood.
ABC’s of Beautiful Light at Photo Plus Expo in New York on October 29. This is a two-hour intro to my full quarter-long course.

I hope to see you at one of these classes, if not more. Please email if you have questions.
